My journey creating this company began 3 years ago when I realized there were no longer any quality independent toy stores in and around my city providing the caliber toys I desired for my children, and this sentiment was being echoed by many families in my community.

With every passing year I found myself saying, “Where am I going to find a quality gift that will enrich the minds of the children I love?” Big box stores were not fulfilling this need, more often than not only offering mass produced toys or media devices that offered the latest and greatest technology but no means for unlocking the imaginations and creative talents of our children. This outside-in approach to learning and playing goes against my Waldorf mommy principles and it became imperative that I do something fast!

I have grandiose ideas of saving our children’s imaginations, giving back to our local communities, sparing the environment and helping our world neighbors through fair trade practices.
